Coast Is Clear is Happening!!!

ATTENTION Parrot Heads time to Party for a Purpose…

WHERE: The Beach bash is held at the Cedar St access, just east of the pier. Pack light, as it is a bit of a hike from the public pier parking. Try to hook up with island neighbors or members with beach driving permits. Email me for more info: 4jhollands@gmail.com

***TIME: The time is floating 12-4ish. With the drawing for raffle prizes starting at 3. Fishin’ for a Cure will be hosting their Pokerfish Tournament RIGHT BESIDE the party that morning! Host a Phlocking…

Hi everyone! I hope you’re having a great summer!!!
I am presenting the opportunity for you and your friends to host one of our remaining PHlockings. Available dates are…Sept. 7th, Oct. 5th, and Nov. 2nd (As always, 1st Friday of each month @ 7pm). Hosting a PHlocking is as simple as choosing a local charity and raising $$$ by selling 50/50 raffle tickets?!?
Please contact me if you’re interested. Thanks all,

Windy Warriors for March Phlocking

What a great turnout last night! Although the wind howled, our hearty Parrot Heads partied on for a purpose! The 50/50 raffle brought in $254 for the Warrior Surf Foundation Emerald Isle chapter. This fantastic organization provides free surf lessons through clinics, for veterans and their families. Healing through waves versus medications. For more information or volunteer opportunities visit http://www.warriorsurf.org/
We had several new members join the phlock last night, and we welcome you and hope to see you at our New Member social in April.
Also, El Presidente, Jan Hicks was slinging club t-shirts all night. Hope to see these being flaunted around the area!
Thank you all for making our club fun, friendly, and giving! See you at the St. Patrick’s Day Festival!

PHantastic February PHlocking

What a great night despite the cold weather! Some us showed out hopeful for early Spring… but most of us were bundled up, waiting out winter.

Matt at Eclub provided some hearty vittles, while DJ Robbie was blasting some great tunes! Thanks to our hosts, Moh Traini and Rose Gerrell, Parrotheads raised $222 (how appropriate for the date) for the Do It For Drew foundation. We welcome the New Members that joined and are excited to see our club continue to grow!

Groundhog’s Hat Day Phlocking, Feb.2

So basing the next 6 weeks’ weather on Punxsutawney Phil’s shadow…let’s see what our Phlock can predict?!? Show your forecast by wearing a seasonal hat. For example, if you think Spring will be here soon, don your favorite visor. If you think winter prevails, snuggle into your favorite toboggan. Do It For Drew Foundation will be our 50/50 raffle charity. For more info about this local organization, visit https://www.doitfordrew.org/. Hosted By Rose Gerrell and Moh Traini.

As always, Phlocking is at 7 at Emerald Club. Join us for fun and fellowship with the Phlock. You can also pay your 2018 membership dues ($10) and we’ll have sign-ups for St. Patrick’s Day Volunteers. See you there. Party For a Purpose.

Be a Phlocking Host

After our inspiring “Phluff the Phlock” meeting Sunday, we are looking for Club members to host First Friday phlockings. All phlockings are held at 7 PM at the Emerald Club (EIPHC nest). Matt (owner) provides music and a light fare.
This is a GREAT opportunity to mingle with the Phlock, as well as meet new members as they join! To host a phlocking requires: Choosing a charity and selling 50/50 raffle tickets. If you would like, you can also have a theme or plan any activities for your phlocking!
So grab a friend or 4 and decide which month you want to host. If you’re not available to commit right away, no worries. Check our calendar later on to see which months are still available… I am looking forward to hearing from you!
