IMPORTANT ANNOUCEMENT-2021 MEMBERSHIP DUES

January is the time to renew your annual dues. All 2021
dues must be paid by January 31st.

It doesn’t matter what month you joined because our dues are only $10.00 per person and we do not pro-rate them. There are two ways to pay your dues as a result of Covid 19. Please use Method 1 or Method 2.

Method 1- Use our website to renew, emeraldisleparrotheads.com. Go to: Click here to Join or Renew picture (or click this link!) and follow the directions. You do not fill out a form to renew. There is a 61cent fee that you need to add to your $10.00 for each membership being renewed. This is the fee to PayPal. Also, you do not need to have a PayPal account. Any credit card can be used.

Renew your membership through the mail. Send check to

Please remember that if dues are paid later than January 31st, you will have to rejoin the club and fill out the form again. Our data base is updated in February to reflect current paid memberships. Our club dues are lower than any other club.

After paying a small amount of each membership to the National Parrot Head Club, we use the rest to run projects to help the community.

Hopefully, we will be meeting face to face by next summer. Until then stay healthy!

2020 PHiP Scholarship Winners Announced

Hello Parrot Heads:

It is the extreme honor of the 2020 PHiP Board of Directors to announce the winners of the 2020 scholarships. We would like to thank our judges for their hard work and efforts in reading each and every application. The applicants had to answer three questions as well as submit a blind essay (Tell us about your leadership skills in your school or community.  Tell us how you plan to continue to apply your leadership skills at the school you are planning to attend).  We received many applications and these fine judges had some very tough decisions to make.

Full congratulations go out to all our applicants and the board wishes each and every one of you good luck with your continued education. It was a very close decision and each of the winners should be very proud of what they do.

The winners of the 2020 scholarships are:

Heather Erlemann, from Cary North Carolina (Parrot Heads Of North Carolina) is the winner of the first place award of $5000.

Laney Phillips from Orr’s Island Maine (PHC Of Maine) is the winner of the second place award of $3000.

Lauren DeFrance from Richmod, Texas (Galveston Bay Parrot Head Club) is the winner of the third place award of $2000.

Again, congratulations to the three winners and thank you to all that applied as well as our judges who took many hours out of their days to help in making this very tough decision.

As most of you know Jimmy Buffett’s new album “Life on the Flip Side” was released this morning.

The the tracks for download are already available and the physical media is also now widely available.

2020 Scholarship Announces The Chance For This One Week Vacation

A GREAT WAY TO HELP THE PHiP SCHOLARSHIP

You can be the lucky winner of a Margaritaville Island Reserve all-inclusive One Week vacation in Riviera Maya!

This year Ultimate Vacations has graciously donated a week long trip to help benefit the PHiP scholarship.

You can buy these tickets individually or as a club donation to the scholarship (domino college recognition) and use this great prize for your fundraiser. DETAILS OF THE TRIP ARE AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS POST.
Please pass this information around to all your club members. All are eligible to win whether they are going to MOTM or not.

*How about buying some chances as a club to use the prize for your clubs fund raiser?  The trip is good for one year so there is plenty of time after MOTM to redeem the trip.

Parrot Heads in Paradise have been awarding qualified parrot heads and their children a total of $10,000 in scholarships every year for the last 11 years. Fundraising has been just keeping pace with our pay-outs each year and we want to add some additional funds to ensure future years’ have adequate funding. To make sure that we can continue to award these gifts well into the future we have come up with a great way to help that cause.  Ultimate Vacations has donated a week long trip for two to raffle off this year. We will be selling tickets via PayPal or check going through October and until 2:30 at MOTM. We will draw for the trip Saturday, October 31st from the stage at Meeting of the Minds for the eight day/seven night all-inclusive trip.   Winners do not need to be present at MOTM to win the trip!  Tickets are five for $20 or five dollars for one. I will send you via email with a list of your numbers so you have them for your records. I will be tracking the name and numbers of every ticket coming in and they will all be in Key West for the drawing. Jimmy Buffett launches Cabin Fever Virtual Tour for fans to watch concerts at home
Starting March 25, the king of chill will upload a live concert from his archives every Wednesday and Saturday at 8 p.m. PST.

Since he can’t physically tour, Jimmy Buffett has launched his Spring 2020 Cabin Fever Virtual Tour, which includes live sets through the years being uploaded to his website every Wednesday and Saturday starting March 25.

Coronavirus may have temporarily put a stop to live events, but Jimmy Buffett still wants fans to have a little fun. Break out the blender or head to your favorite local restaurant for some margaritas-to-go and join Buffett and fellow Parrotheads during his Spring 2020 Cabin Fever Virtual Tour from the comfort and safety of your own home.Starting Wednesday, March 25, every Wednesday and Saturday at 8 p.m. PST Buffett will be re-broadcasting shows from his live archives via margaritaville.tv or tune into Radio Margaritaville on SiriusXM.
