The latest edition of the PHIP Tradewind Times is now on the website.  You can go to this link:

In this issue:  Rob Hill presents the full musical schedule for Meeting of the Minds, a Texan laments the lack of Buffett concerts in his home state this year and ponders what if Buffett had moved to Texas in the 1970s. (It isn’t as far fetched as you think), we have everything you need to know about the three upcoming club contests, and we provide links to a dozen upcoming club events.

The latest edition of the PHIP quarterly newsletter, the Tradewind Times, is now on line to view.  Club leaders please share with your members.  This one has a lot of good information in it!
The new PHIP Board Members are introduced.  All the contest winners are identified: Golden Coconut Award, Membership Contest, Website Contest, Newsletter Contest, plus the PHIP Scholarship raffle winner.
There’s an update on the PHIP MOTM charitable donations made last fall, new MOTM co-chairs, dates and registration opening for 2021.

This is my last edition after eight years as editor.  It has been a labor of love for me, but time for someone new.  Stephen Woods, from Galveston is taking over and will have a new format for you next time.

This edition includes information on some special PHIP benefits, a contest, raffles and an auction for members only.
Keep posting ideas for getting your club members together and supporting your charities during this difficult time.  Be sure and post when and if you reschedule events that were postponed or cancelled.

The January 2020 Tradewind Times is now on line!
(It says Oct2019TWT in the link, but it is the new one.)
You can always go to the PHIP website, https://www.phip.com/club and scroll down the left side then select Tradewind Times.
See what our new PHIP President Billy Brehm wrote.  The wrap up of MOTM 2019 is there, along with who won the Golden Coconut Award and Newsletter Contest.  Also, the new PHIP Scholarship raffle and MOTM 2020 contests and have started.
The standard PHIP Financials, Club Birthdays, Domino College and Regional events are there too!

April 2019 Tradewind Times is now online!

The Second Quarter 2019 edition of the Tradewind Times is now available on line and ready for reading and sharing! In this issue you will find the always anticipated “State of the Phlock” with details about how awesome you all did last year! President Kathy Pfister has some great words of wisdom for us all!  There is also the Top 20 Clubs list with those clubs that have the most members.

There is information about MOTM 2019, “License to Chill”, from Andrew Talbert, an article about how PHIP did with the National Alzheimer’s Walk Team, plus the standard quarterly financial reports, Domino College, regional events and club birthdays.

April 2018 Tradewind Times is now online

 

The second quarter 2018 edition of the Tradewind Times is now available on line and ready for reading and sharing!  In this issue you will find the always anticipated “State of the Phlock” with details about how awesome you all did last year!  There is also the Top 20 Clubs list with those clubs that have the most members.
There is an article about how PHIP did with the National Alzheimer’s Walk Team and the clubs’ team participation.  You can read about how to set up your team for this year and participate with PHIP to help find a cure for Alzheimer’s disease.

 

There is info on upcoming deadlines for PHIP Interim Reports, the Golden Coconut Award contest and the Newsletter Contest.  The latest PHIP featured clubs are in there.  There’s a Lone Palm Foundation raffle for ticket to the Jimmy Buffett concert at Fenway Park.   Plus see the standard quarterly financial reports, Domino College, regional events and club birthdays.
