OCTOBER PHLOCKING, FRIDAY OCTOBER 1, 2021

The annual Tutus for Tatas walk (AKA – Diva Walk) will unfortunately not be held this year, but our October Phlocking will be your opportunity to bring out the pink tutus and all things PINK in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We will have pink ribbons available for a $5 donation that can be displayed on our Hope Wall 2021. Ribbons can be decorated, personalized or left blank, and there will be an official “pinning ceremony” in front of Movement Mortgage on October 9, 2021 at 11:00am. There will also be a silent auction for a special “All Things Pink” basket designed by EIPHC President Jan Hicks. Matt will welcome us to the EClub with live music by Captain Dick and the Lost Seamen and of course FREE FOOD!! We’d be “Tickled Pink” to see all of you at the EClub at 7pm on Friday, October 1, 2021.

EIPHC presents “HOPE WALL 2021”

In lieu of our annual Tutus for Tatas walk, our club will be displaying decorated “In Honor/ Memory of” pink ribbons publicly October 2nd-11th on our specially designed HOPE WALL. The wall will be presented at our October 1st Phlocking. Then it will be moved and displayed outside the Movement Mortgage office at K and V Plaza. The ribbons will be available at our monthly Phlocking October 1st at Eclub. We are asking a $5 donation for each ribbon. They can be left blank, personalized, or decorated with bling. For those who would like to attend, we will have an official “Pinning Ceremony” outside at Movement Mortgage October 9th at 11:00 AM. Ribbons can also be purchased and pinned at the ceremony or privately pinned anytime between October 2nd-11th while the Wall is on display. President’s Notes August 2021

We are facing a time that is full of  chaos and confusion. We send prayers to all who are in peril from events taking place all over the world.  Through this,  we’ll stay strong, stay positive and remain hopeful for a brighter day, a better time, and a new beginning.

This morning, while on my porch, the sun rose in its majestic beauty , a gentle breeze played against my face, a tiny green hummingbird happily zoomed by, and my hibiscus showed off its 4 giant ruby red blossoms.  Each of these things validated for me that even in hard times, Life is Good.

Likewise, EIPHC will strive to make our events and surroundings as good as they can be through the times we have together.  It starts Labor Day weekend with Rick Lamb and The Phin Addicts.  We are fortunate to have Rick and his talented and seasoned group of musicians come and spend time with us! They have entertained Parrot Head groups and Trop Rock fans from coast to coast and internationally since 2007.  Scott Nickerson, a life long musician and founder of the Atlanta Parrot Head Club, as well as the non-profit organization, Parrot Heads in Paradise, is also joining Rick as a member of the band!  We are guaranteed an outstanding trop rock experience! “Life is Good” when you Party with a Purpose! Visit our website for details at www.emeraldisleparrotheads.com.  Fins up ya’ll, Jan H. President
