T-MINUS 18 DAYS UNTIL REGISTRATION FOR PHiP’s MEETING OF THE MINDS  CLOSES!!
Hello Parrot Heads! Happy Labor Day! This is a quick update that will be followed by others chocked full of information about PHiP’s Meeting of the Minds! The pace is picking up, the clock is ticking, and YOU NEED TO REGISTER BEFORE SEPTEMBER 15!!! Everything is very busy behind the scenes preparing for the event which is now ONLY WEEKS AWAY!!
MORE ENTERTAINMENT NEWS?
There are still things in the works right now to embellish the entertainment sets! By the time we get into September I will give you more details about things happening on the ground in Key West! For now I will tell you that once the music starts in the morning it will not stop even for a break until the stage closes just before midnight during the entire event!
BLOOD DRIVE NEWS
Get ready… a blood drive update is coming!! Jeff Hoffman is almost ready to start taking names and telling you all about the 2019 blood drive at the Casa Marina!
TOY DRIVE?
YES there will be a toy drive and notes are coming to tell you all about it.
RAFFLE GIFT BASKETS? More news is coming from Joe and Lorene Prorok to tell you about the gift basket plan for 2019!
LIVE AUCTION?
Yes the Lone Palm Foundation will be back onhand on Saturday morning at the Casa Marina to auction some very special Jimmy Buffett autographed and one of a kind items. All proceeds will benefit Parrot Heads in need from natural disasters. Parrot Heads Helping Parrot Heads! `
MINI MART?
YES it is SOLD OUT and PACKED with cool Parrot Head things! Don’t miss the party on Thursday morning. More news on that is coming.
FOOD AND DRINK SPECIALS AT THE CASA MARINA
$3 Land Sharks, $5 Margaritaville Tequila Gold Margaritas, and cheeseburgers off the grill on the beach for less than Five Guys? That is just the tip of the iceberg…. It is Key West and you are on a beach with palm trees and the ocean at a Historic Waldolf Astoria Hotel. Folks this is the place you need to be with all of your PHriends! YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE AN AMAZING TIME.
HALLOWEEN CONTEST?
YES we will have a contest on Thursday night on the MAIN STAGE WITH prizes!! Get your costume plan ready now! Fair warning! The competition was tough last year! From Radiomargaritaville…DJ’s Steve Huntington and JD Spradlin will be your hosts! See you there!

WHO ARE WE? Of course, we are fans of Jimmy Buffett, singer, songwriter, author and businessman. But, being a Parrot Head is so much more. It’s a state of mind! Age has nothing to do with it. We love the lifestyle, the party, the ocean, the sunshine, and a relaxed sense of freedom. It allows us to express our feelings and creativity, in whatever manner we choose, to escape from life’s rat race into our own little tropical paradise, if only for a little while.

WE ARE EVERYWHERE! You probably know a few of us and don’t even realize it. Parrot Heads are business owners, doctors, sales reps, lawyers, bankers, police officers, college students, bartenders, musicians, carpenters, grandparents, and maybe even your neighbor. We come from all walks of life! Through our common interests, we come together to support causes in every area of our surrounding communities.

AND, WE OFFER GREAT BENEFITS! The Emerald Isle Parrot Head Club and all parrot head clubs are open to anyone with the tropical spirit and the desire to contribute positively to the betterment of their little corner of the world. A QUICK CALENDAR UPDATE FOR PHiP’S 2019 MEETING OF THE MINDS!!
Hello Parrot Heads! Here is the latest update for PHiP’s 28th Annual Meeting of the Minds 2019 “License to Chill in Key West, Florida. Don’t delay in registering for PHiP’s Meeting of the Minds!  Why? You have until September 15th and then registration is CLOSED.
What will YOU miss if you don’t make it to PHiP’s Meeting of the Minds 2019 in Key West? One thing is THE 6th CONSECUTIVE BEACHSIDE ALBUM HOUR. This one will feature a full end-to-end performance of Jimmy Buffett’s 2004 release“License to Chill.”

PARROT HEADS! WATCH THE CALENDAR! DEADLINES ARE COMING!
The deadline for mail-in registration for PHiP’s MOTM is AUGUST 31! That is less than 3 weeks from now! The deadline for online registration is SEPTEMBER 15 which is just over a month from now!
If you have a reservation at the Casa Marina and have to cancel don’t forget there is a 60 day cancellation policy which is just over two weeks away! If you have to cancel a reservation for the event inside of 60 days you will lose your initial one night deposit. I am reminding you of this deadline as it is a hotel reservation policyand our intent is to do what we can to communicate all the dates to everyone!
