The annual Island Santa Bar Crawl to benefit Make a Wish of Eastern NC will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. There will be 6 bar stops where you can enjoy drink specials and gather clues for this year’s “word scramble game”. Don’t forget our costume contests for individuals and groups. This event always brings out the crazy, Christmas spirit!! Online registration will be available until December 3, 2024 and will be $25. Registration on the day of the event will be from 11:30am to 1:00pm. The first 250 online registrants will receive the event “SWAG bag”, so register early!! Event T-shirts are on sale until November 16th. T-Shirts are $20 and will be heather red with long sleeves. Event T-shirts always sell out so be sure to get yours online. There will be a very limited supply available on the day of the event. Join us on Friday night (December 6) for our December Phlocking where we will have raffle items and a 50/50 drawing to benefit Make a Wish of ENC and let’s kick off a great weekend of Partying with a Purpose!!

SUNDAY FUNDAY END OF SUMMER JAM

Join the Emerald Isle Parrot Head Club for a Phlash Phlocking at 1:00 on
Sunday, September 15 at the Western Regional Public Beach Access. The
party will be held on the beach right of the Lifeguard stand in front of
Queen’s Court. It’s the first day of beach driving season, so load up your 4-
wheel drive and join our party! Parking at the access is still paid or free if
you have a EI resident sticker. Free parking starts on Sept 16. ☹ Bring your
lunch, snacks and beverages and enjoy celebrating the end of summer and
tourist season with other fun-loving Parrot Heads. Bring some cash to
participate in our 50/50 raffle to donate to Misplaced Mutts. Hope to see

We have received an invitation to help the Parrot Heads of North Carolina (Raleigh) celebrate their 30th anniversary on Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 3pm-9:30pm. August 2 ~ Phlocking, 7:00 – 9:00 pm

Join us on Friday for our monthly Phlocking at the Emerald Club where we will be kicking off our 22nd Anniversary Weekend and Partying with a Purpose for the benefit of Make-A-Wish of Eastern NC. Barefoot Wade, a Parrot Head favorite, will be providing the live music. Wear your favorite EI Parrot Head Club shirt or hat. Come out and help us kick off a great weekend of PHUN!!

August 4 ~ Anniversary Celebration Cookout, 4:00 – 7:00 pm
The PHUN continues on Sunday as we celebrate the 22nd anniversary of the Emerald Isle Parrot Head Club at the Emerald Club with a cookout. Join us for “Cheeseburgers in Paradise”, fantastic raffle opportunities, great music, games and lots of PHUN!! The costume theme for the day will be “Buffett Wear” or “Fabulous Tacky Tourist” and there will be prizes!!

This event is being held as part of our annual Island Santa Bar Crawl and will kick off our Make-A-Wish of Eastern NC fundraising. The party will be open to the public so invite everyone that you know. Your $5 cover will include a cookout, great music, games and as always PHUN!!

Yarn is a touring band and we are lucky to have them here for 2 nights in Emerald Isle. Come and enjoy the band and hang out with other Phellow Parrot Heads! Guaranteed to be Phun!

On March 1, 2024 we will be “Going Wild for Wildlife“. The Emerald Isle Parrot Head Club will hold our monthly Phlocking at the EClub from 7:00-9:00pm. We will be fundraising for the Outer Banks Wildlife Shelter (OWLS) and it will be WILD!! Join us for special animal visitors, the 50/50 drawing, a silent auction table and Matt’s free food and music. If you are feeling WILD, wear your favorite animal prints or purchase an OWLS t-shirt or sweatshirt. There will be several ways to support this PHantasic organization. It’s time for the Phlock to come together and plan for 2024. Our annual Phluff the Phlock Meeting will be held on Sunday, January 21st at 3:30pm. We will meet at the home of Lois Gray at 6717 Ocean Drive. We will be electing officers and planning for the year’s events. We encourage all interested members to attend and participate in the planning. If you are interested in serving as a committee chair or club officer, please come and let it be known.
