Roger Bartlett is the original Coral Reefer guitar player. If you listen to the early albums and bootleg recordings of Jimmy Buffett you will hear Roger playing on all those tracks. Roger is still recording and touring all over the world. Roger is never far from a guitar and he has recorded many solo albums since the early days with Jimmy Buffett. Roger is going to be on the beach stage with a full band which you know as the guys who back John Frinzi on occasion. Watch out for a guest or two as Roger plays his originals, maybe a cover or two, as well as some great tracks he recorded with Jimmy Buffett. Not long after that you will see him on the main stage playing a few songs on the singer-songwriter showcase led by John Frinzi with Coral Reefer backing which should be a very cool set that is not to be missed. On Friday watch out for the Beachside Album Hour as Roger lays down the main guitar tracks for Jimmy Buffett’s “A1A” album. Be sure to see Roger at the meet and greet activities to hear some cool stories and pick up some autographed CDs.
The “A1A” album just recently turned forty years old. This album is generally considered one of the best early albums from Jimmy Buffett’s “Key West phase.” As always, the album will be played from beginning to end with all of the current Coral Reefer Band members as well as a few special guests which include Aaron Scherz, Roger Bartlett, and early Coral Reefer Vaughn Cochran.  John Frinzi and his band will be back as “The Shrimper Dan Band.” There are so many players scheduled for this show the sound crew is bringing in a larger mixing console for 2015. The Coral Reefers will be on the stage for the 3rd Annual Beachside Album Hour and all we need is YOU to make this a very special event.
