Big news about Parrothead Cruise 2025:
We have two exciting additions to our musical entertainment
Adding to our onboard lineup of Erica Sunshine Lee, Bob Karwin, Jeff Pike, and the Jonas Lorence Band we are thrilled to announce that Coral Reefer and Steelpan virtuoso Robert Greenidge will be sailing with us!
Robert grew up in the heart of the Caribbean on the island of Trinidad. He has been a core member of Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band for decades, bringing the Caribbean to Jimmy’s Gulf+Western sound. Along with Coral Reefer Mike Utley and other CRB band mates Robert also formed the Club Trini and have released several recordings. Outside of Trop Rock, Robert is a long-time musical director of the legendary steel band “The Desperadoes”, with whom he returns home to Trinidad each year to play in the Carnival celebrations.
We are also very excited to announce a special guest at the
Meet Me in CaboWaboville party and concert we will be holding in Cabo San Lucas on the day we visit. Joining our extraordinary onboard lineup will be the incomparable
Nadirah Shakoor.
Most of us know Nadirah as the lead female vocalist in the Coral Reefer Band for going on thirty years. Nadirah was also a featured vocalist in the Grammy-nominated group Arrested Development and has toured or recorded with a who’s-who of popular music including Janet Jackson, Madonna, Quincy Jones, Paula Abdul, and Al Jarreau. In addition to her collaborations, Nadirah has also released four solo albums: “Soul Power”, “NadirahSongs”, “Obsessed With Peace”‘, and “Nod to the Storyteller” her tribute to Jimmy Buffett.
Nadirah and her band Outside Art joined us on Parrothead Cruise 2010 and we are very excited to have her back with us for this one-time command performance.
