Okay folks, it’s time to register for this year’s Island Santa Bar Crawl. This event is one of the best during the holiday season and you will not be disappointed. The ISBC will be held on Saturday, December 6th from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. The event raises money to provide “wishes” for critically ill children in our area. We have partnered with Make A Wish ENC for the last 7 years and the event continues to grow each year. Online registration will be open until November 30, 2025 and the cost is $20. Now is also the time to get your event t-shirts. T-shirts will have this years theme picture on the back and the ISBC logo on the front chest area. The shirts will be lime/Grinch green this year. The cost of t-shirts is $20. Please be aware that the cut-off for t-shirt orders will be November 20,2025, so don’t delay in getting yours now. The Emerald Isle Parrot Head Club’s 8th annual Island Santa Bar Crawl will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025. Proceeds from this event benefit Make a Wish of Eastern NC and make “wishes” come true for critically ill children in our local area. The EIPHC was recognized as a 2025 Wishmaker of the Year by Make a Wish ENC. The ISBC has raised in excess of $125,000 since it started in 2018.

We are very excited about this year’s event and hope that you will join us as we crawl into the holiday season. Here in Emerald Isle, our town motto is “Nice Matters” but truth be told there’s a lot of “crabbiness” in the world right now. We’re going to make it our mission to “Crawl it Off” and leave all the crabbiness behind!!

There are 7 PHANTASIC local stops for this year’s crawl. This year’s stops include: The Trading Post, Flipperz, The Thirsty Surfer, The Shark’s Den, Bar 1957, The Growler and Gaffer’s. The event will start at the EIPHC official home nest, THE E-CLUB and we will finish up the day’s events there as well. The Island Santa Bar Crawl will start at 1:00pm and will conclude at 5:00pm. There will be presentations for the event game winners and best costumes at THE ECLUB at the conclusion of the crawl. The party will continue with music, a photo booth and PHUN.

Online registration will be available at www.emeraldisleparrotheads.com until November 30, 2025. The cost of online registration is $20. On site registration will be available from 11:30am to 1:00pm on the day of the event and will cost $25. Event T-shirts will be pre-order only this year. T-shirts can be purchased under the “shop” tab along with registration. This year’s shirts will be long sleeved, “soft” t-shirts. This year’s theme “Feeling Crabby?? Crawl it Off!” will be on the back of the shirt with the ISBC logo on the front. Event T-Shirts will be $20.

On May 31, 2025 Island Pets Veterinary Hospital will be hosting a special event in celebration of Parrot Day. Join them for this PHUN event and represent the Emerald Isle Parrot Head Club. There’s a best dressed parrot costume contest and you know we love to “dress up”.

The Emerald Isle Parrot Head Club would like to give a shout out to all of the businesses that have donated to our raffle, that will be held Saturday at the Island Santa Bar Crawl. The Crawl and raffle proceeds will all go to Make-A-Wish, ENC. Saturday is right around the corner and the Island Santa Bar Crawl is looking like our biggest event since we started.  We could not do this event without the support of so many in our Emerald Isle community.  We would like to start with Matt Morel and the EClub for always providing the EIPHC with our “Home Nest” for Phlockings and our start and finish point for EIPHC events.   Matt will provide a PHUN photo booth to help us capture our ISBC memories.  We would also like to acknowledge the EClub for collecting donations for MAW during their annual Christmas Parade Pig Picking. These donations raised $600 for MAW. Next, we would like to thank the 7 bar stops that we will visit along the way.  This year’s stops include: Surf’s Up, The Trading Post, Flipperz, Shark’s Den, The Growler, Bar 1957 and 77 West.  Paul Musco and 77 West will be providing our event shuttle. Please be sure to tip your driver!!

Our raffle items are PHantastic!!  We appreciate all of the donations that we have received.  Raffle tickets will be 2 for $10 or 5 for $20 and will be sold on Friday night at the Phlocking and on Saturday during the crawl.    We have the following raffle items: A sterling silver EI Destination Bracelet, a New to You 3-wheel Bike, a Dine the Coast gift card basket, a Family Fun gift card basket, a Handmade Santa Figurine, a 24×36 Surfboard Photo Canvas, a Mermaid Garden Statue, a Chip Shackelford -Artist Gift Basket, a Crab Pot Christmas Tree and Art Lessons from area artist Irene Bailey. Check out our raffle table at the Phlocking and on the day of the event. Thank you to everyone who donated items.  Individuals and businesses will be acknowledged at the raffle tables.

Don’t forget to join us on Friday night for the monthly EIPHC Phlocking.  We will meet at EClub from 700pm to 900pm. Come in your best Christmas PJs or Ugly Sweaters and enjoy free Phood, Phun and Phellowship provided by Matt Morel.  Same day registration will be at the EClub on Saturday from 1130am to 100pm.  The ISBC will start and end at the EClub and there will be lots of fun at the “afterparty”, including our costume winner announcement, game winners and raffle drawings.

The Island Santa Bar Crawl is fast approaching.  Online registration has been successful and we are expecting a HUGE turnout!!  We have been busy collecting some GREAT raffle items including an Emerald Isle destination bracelet from JR Dunn, a Family Fun basket with gift cards that the kids with LOVE, a Dine the Coast basket with gift cards from many area restaurants, a gift basket from area artist Chip Shackelford, a Crab Pot Tree from Ace Hardware and a beautiful 24×36 Photo Canvas donated by Amy Shores of Seaside Topsail Photography. There may be additional items added before the Phlocking on Friday night so “Stay Tuned”.    The December Phlocking will be held at the EClub on Friday, December 6th from 7pm to 9pm.  Get comfy in your favorite Christmas PJs or Ugly Christmas Sweater and help us kick off Island Santa Bar Crawl Weekend.  Raffle tickets and 50/50 tickets will be available on Friday night.  The raffle item winners will be announced on Saturday after the Crawl.  It’s not to late to join us for the 2024 Island Santa Bar Crawl to benefit Make a Wish of ENC on Saturday, December 7th.  Online registration will end on December 3rd at 10pm.  Online registration is $20 per person.
