It’s going the be a beautiful night for a rooftop party….or at least that’s the plan! The Parrot Heads are calling a Phlash Plocking for Wednesday, April 19th at the Torpedo Lounge. Join us for live music and some of the best views on the island. We will be sending out a HUGE THANK YOU to Transportation Impact, our “Presenting Sponsor” for the Beach Bike Poker Run in May. Let’s show up in big numbers to show our gratitude!! Pure T Mommicked will be playing from 6-9 pm and there may even be a special Spring Break beverage to enjoy. The Torpedo Lounge also offers a yummy menu with offerings from Caribsea. This will be a great way to break up the long work week and enjoy some “Hump Day” FUN!!

The EIPHC Beach Bike Poker Run “Big Birds” have been hard at work planning this years FANTASTIC EVENT. The Poker Run is the Parrot Heads’ biggest fundraiser of the year and a great opportunity to experience how we “Party with a Purpose” here on Emerald Isle. This year’s Poker Run will be held on Saturday, May 20th. This is an ADULT ONLY event! Proceeds from the event will go the the Semper Fi Odyssey Children’s Adventure Camp which sends children of injured Marines and Sailors to camp for a week and then provides them with mentoring support throughout their school year. Last years event raised $7200 and brought in 230 riders. The entry fee is $20 and there will be cash prizes for the best poker hand. Prizes will also be awarded for best decorated bikes and costumes in each of the theme categories. This year’s themes are: PHeathered PHriends, PHriends of the Sea and PHoo-PHoo Drinks. Our newly designed EIPHC T-Shirts will also be unveiled and available for purchase. STAY TUNED for additional information concerning sponsors, prizes and event day detail…..COMING SOON!! Our April Phlocking will be held Friday, April 7th at the Emerald Club. Spring is upon us and it’s time to put on your best Bonnet or Bowtie and join us for some Springtime Shenanigans. There will be some fun seasonal games and our 50/50 drawing will provide a donation to the Crystal Coast Autism Center in honor of Autism Awareness Month. As always the E CLub will provide us with some yummy food and great drink specials. Non-members are welcome and of course we’ll encourage you to join! You may have heard that EIPHC is currently 8th in WORLD for number of memberships and we’d really like to continue to move up!! So come on out and see what we’re all about…..we guarantee that you’ll wonder why it took you so long to join us!! Members be sure to check at the membership table for upcoming volunteer opportunities. We’re looking forward to a FANTASTIC turnout and seeing everyone there!!

The EIPHC will hold their March Phlocking on Friday, March 3rd at the Emerald Club. March is a HUGE month of the island with the St. Patty’s festivities (and of course some March Madness too!), so come on out and start the party early. Be sure to sport your best MUSTACHE!! An award will be given for the best MUSTACHE ever! Wear it on a stick, draw it on, stick it on or try any other creative way that you choose. Extra points will be awarded for any attire that compliments the MUSTACHE. Use your imagination……this goes for the ladies too!! The 50/50 drawing will be raising money for “Men’s Health”.  As always….. Good Food, Great Drink Specials, Music to Move You and Fun Games will be provided. Parrot Head Phlockings are open to non-members, so come on out and check out the greatest group of people you’ll ever meet and remember all new members will receive a welcome gift with their $10 membership dues.  See you on March 3rd at 7:00 pm. The EIPHC monthly Phlocking will be held Friday, December 2nd at the Emerald Club. It’s time to pull out those crazy Christmas sweaters and gather for some holiday cheer. There will be some fun games and of course prizes for the best “Ugly Christmas Sweater”. The membership table will be open and Parrot Head T-shirts will be available for purchase. Come on out and Party with a Purpose!!

The November EIPHC Phlocking will be held on Friday, November 4th at the Emerald Club. The fun will begin at 7:00pm. Come out and “Party with a Purpose”. November means Thanksgiving, and Thanksgiving means “Family, Food and Football“. Show your team spirit by wearing your best team attire or the colors of your favorite football team. Also, because the real meaning of the holiday is to be THANKFUL for all the blessings in our lives, we will be helping those less fortunate. We will be collecting canned and non-perishable food for the Food Bank and of course our 50/50 drawing will also raise money for charity. As always, there will be fun games and T-shirts available for sale. Phlockings are a great opportunity for non-members to check out all of the fun. Join on the night of the Phlocking and you’ll receive some fun party favors and become a part of a great organization.
