IMPORTANT ANNOUCEMENT-2021 MEMBERSHIP DUES

January is the time to renew your annual dues. All 2021
dues must be paid by January 31st.

It doesn’t matter what month you joined because our dues are only $10.00 per person and we do not pro-rate them. There are two ways to pay your dues as a result of Covid 19. Please use Method 1 or Method 2.

Method 1- Use our website to renew, emeraldisleparrotheads.com. Go to: Click here to Join or Renew picture (or click this link!) and follow the directions. You do not fill out a form to renew. There is a 61cent fee that you need to add to your $10.00 for each membership being renewed. This is the fee to PayPal. Also, you do not need to have a PayPal account. Any credit card can be used.

Method 2
Renew your membership through the mail. Send check to

Emerald Isle Parrot Heads
PO Box 4293
Emerald Isle, NC 28594-4293

Please remember that if dues are paid later than January 31st, you will have to rejoin the club and fill out the form again. Our data base is updated in February to reflect current paid memberships. Our club dues are lower than any other club.

After paying a small amount of each membership to the National Parrot Head Club, we use the rest to run projects to help the community.

Hopefully, we will be meeting face to face by next summer. Until then stay healthy!

OVER $37,000 RAISED BY EIPHC 2020 ISLAND SANTA BAR CRAWL!

I am happy to announce that we will be contributing to Make-A-Wish, ENC, a  little over $37,000 to benefit wish kids of Carteret County.  I am sending a big hug and heartfelt thanks to all of you who helped make this event a huge success.  So many PHolks supported the auction with purchases, made donations, hosted private events and contributed lots of time and effort in many ways. I can’t thank you enough! I believe the hearts of everyone involved were touched when we all reconnected as a PHlock! There are very special kids that are going to be mighty happy as a result of our efforts.

Be on the lookout for additional pictures and announcements!  It’s awesome to have something great like this event to end the year.  Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all! Phins up! Jan H.,  President

SAVE THE DATES December 4—13, 2020

Started in 2018, in lieu of the annual Island Santa Bar Crawl, this year we are inviting club members to organize & host your own themed dinner/cocktail parties to benefit Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina. You select the theme, menu, guest list, venue…and get ready to “party with a purpose.”!

HOW:

  • Select a party date between Friday, Dec. 4 – Sunday, Dec. 13. Register by clicking here: EIPHC Party Registration

  • Once submitted, an individual fundraising page will be set up for each party and a sharable link will be provided to each host.

  • Select a “theme” and invite your guests! Costumes are encouraged!!  Whether you go with traditional festive attire or a crazy & wacky theme – it’s totally up to you! Just have phun with it.

  • Be sure to let your guests know they can make a donation on your fundraising page by sharing the link along with the invitation (or they can choose to bring a check payable to Make-A-Wish Eastern NC to the party.) Share your party photos on the EIPHC Facebook Page!

WHY:

Wishes are waiting! By supporting Make-A-Wish ENC,
we are giving local children
renewed strength to fight their critical illnesses, bringing
families closer together and uniting entire communities.  Right now— there are 8  kids from Carteret County who need our help! Let’s have some phun and grant some wishes this holiday season!

AWARDS:

Based on the *photos submitted, judges will select winners for the top three themed parties! Each winning host will receive a bonus donation to be added to their fundraising total. The host with the highest fundraising total will receive the “Grand Santa’s Helper” award. All winners will be announced Live on Facebook on Monday, Dec. 14. (Businesses & individual hosts will be judged separately)

*More details  on how/where to share your party photos coming soon!
