The Humane society likes to use “Special Kitty” brand kitty litter; available inexpensively at Wal-Mart.
They also prefer Purina (Dog-chow, Puppy-chow, Cat-chow, Kitty-chow) brand foods.
This month’s Phlocking theme is Christmas in July, but instead of presents for the humans, we will be focusing on gifts for our animal friends.
We will be Phlocking on Friday July 3rd at the Emerald Club. With the holiday weekend I’m sure it will be crowded there!
Dress in red and green, and bring an “unwrapped” donation of pet food, newspapers, pet toys, old sheets or towels, cleaning supplies. Donations will go to Carteret County Humane Society. Continue reading July 2015 Phlocking – Christmas in July for our phurry phriends
May or may not get a full newsletter out before the PHlocking but wanted to make sure all of you know about the “theme” for the Friday PHlocking on June 5th. It sounds like it will be a blast. Details :
Yea man, our next phlocking is Friday, June the 5th. The theme is Woodstock and the 60s. Dudes and dudettes, here’s your opportunity to dress up in your favorite 60’s duds.

We had some inquiries about what was happening for Cinco De Mayo and since we weren’t really aware of anything specific, we decided to make our own fun event.
So 7:00 PM tomorrow May 5th, let us gather at Carolina Wine Mixer at the Emerald Plantation Shopping Center. It is opposite Highway 55 Burgers & next to Rucker Johns. They have wine and beer (maybe some Mexican ones). So see you there for a last minute PHlash PHlocking!

We Cleaned up the place! Ok maybe the roadway. Thank you to all the Parrot Heads and PHriends who came to clean the roadway on both sides of the bridge in Emerald Isle. It looks clean and spiffy now!
